This well established legal services company did not have a formalized information security program and was in full speed growth mode. As such, the company needed guidance on creating secure internal processes, protecting their sensitive data, ensure policies were written, and address external security requirements from several prospective large clients. I assisted the client on a multi-month engagement strategizing, implementing, and testing the company’s information security program.
EdTech Firm
This client was a software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology provider to the education industry. A large potential client required my client to get on the path to ISO 27001 certification. I assisted the client’s internal team to assess their current security posture and then develop a roadmap to help them head towards ISO certification.
Medical Practice
This medical practice has four large medical offices in a large city and was recently the victim of a ransomware attack. The attack caused the client to partially shut down operations for a period of time. In the wake of this incident, I assisted the client in assessing their cyber defense posture, develop a plan to enhance it, then worked with their external IT provider and practice management to implement all the required changes.
This manufacturing company was recently sold to a new entity that quickly realized its cyber defense was severely lacking. Since this manufacturer has critical intellectual property to protect, I worked with the client to build an information security program from the ground-up. This effort included advice on hiring staff, budgeting, policy, technology, and process improvements across the company.
